Esbri/Ruiz come in as the more structured pair: Ruiz typically brings heavier overheads and calmer decision-making, while Esbri’s job is to speed up points with quick volleys and coverage. Chozas/Libaak are likely the higher-variance duo—explosive in transitions and counterpunching, but more prone to rushed shot selection if pinned in the backhand corner. In Cancún’s generally quicker, lively conditions, I slightly favor Esbri/Ruiz in two tight sets if they control the net and manage Libaak’s aggression.
